Why Does The Parker Task Force Need A Capital Campaign?

Like most families, we started small and grew quickly. And also like most families, we have continued to grow. As the need of our community has changed, Parker Task Force (PTF) has changed to accommodate that need, which has necessitated the need for more food, (and more space to hold that food), more volunteer staff (and more space to house that staff), more services to offer our clients (and more square footage to process those services) and….well, you see the trend here.

As anyone who has ever has the opportunity to visit knows, the Parker Task Force was always a cozy group. Frankly, we have gone from cozy to bursting at the seams. The fact of the matter is that the need is not going to diminish any time soon which also indicates that our need for extra room isn’t going away either. To continue to provide the top-notch service for which we are known, we simply need more space. We are currently working with the Town of Parker and the Douglas County Commissioners to secure a permanent location for the PTF.

The Parker Task Force has been fulfilling the needs of our community for nearly 22 years. We are asking our community to help fulfill the needs of the Parker Task Force.
