Call 303-841-3460 to help. Energetic adults who can work as stockers and sorters are invited to volunteer their time. Some lifting is required for these positions. Volunteers can work as little as two hours a month or as many as twenty hours a month. The Food Bank welcomes individuals needing community service hours. Call 303.841.3460 If you are a member of an organization (church, business, school or fraternal) and would like to support our monthly food drive or another special project please call the Food Bank and leave a message. Anyone interested in volunteering can call the Food Bank office at 303.841.3460. If you don’t have time to volunteer, the Food Bank welcomes donations of non-perishable food with good expiration dates, gift cards from local stores and cash or checks. Donations are welcomed during normal operating hours or during the monthly food drive conducted at the King Soopers and Safeway stores on the third Saturday of the month. The Food Bank is located in the Parker Information Center (old town hall) at 20118 E. MainStreet Unit D. Park in back of the building and the entrance is located under the stairs. (Google™ Map). The Parker Task Force does not have a Thrift Store. We do work with Open Gate Thrift Shop. Donations of clothing, toys, kitchen utensils etc. should be donated there. The Parker Task Force Food Bank is non-profit organization operated solely by dedicated volunteers.
