Generosity Shines During Last Year's June 2007 Food Drive An estimated 15,000 pounds of food and hygiene products were donated to the Parker Task Force Food Bank during the 9Cares / Colorado Shares food drive on June 16th. The community’s generous spirit made Parker the second largest collection point during the day-long effort at the Parker Task Force on East Mainstreet and at the local King Soopers and Safeway stores. The day’s collections also represented a 3,000 pound increase over the June 2006 effort in Parker. The next drive will be on Saturday, June 21, 2008.
